Good Junior and Buddy

Junior Wells and Buddy Guy recorded together quite a few times over their long careers, and this concert album from Japan is a nice document of a no frills band working their magic with the two of them. There's nothing pyrotechnic about the arrangements or recording, but the concert is a solid representation of what a club date with the two blues legends sounded like during the '70's. Unfortunately the recording lacks a bit of depth and proper balance (it's a concert hall or arena recording), but if you crank it up, it unveils a great concert that belongs near the top of the Junior and Buddy recordings.
