Meghan Trainor — Title (Special Edition): Reviews

Catchy Pop

20.12.2015 by Tom Howard (See all user reviews)

You'll probably have heard of Meghan Trainor from her song "All About That Bass" and if you liked that then here's the good news : This album is full of catchy, click-along ,feel-good songs. What's impressive is that the whole album is at least co-written by Meghan, therefore I regard her as a great talent ,and I love her unique touch to the songs.
The songs on the album all have a ukulele kinda vibe to them that ,while being very original, reminds me of Eliza Doolittle's style of music. Although, Meghan skillfully incorporates rap into many of the songs which makes the music a whole new genre of it own.
Lips Are Movin ,Dear Future Husband , Title, and Walkashame are just a few of the songs that are so feel good, and the lyrics are very humorous with a hint of bad-ass attitude.
Among the fun, humorous songs, Close Your Eyes, 3am ,Like Im Gonna Lose You , and My Selfish Heart really give a glimpse of a more serious/vulnerable side of Meghan and overall it makes for a well balanced , fun album that Im sure you will find myself playing over and over again.
