Great band

I stumbled upon The Shins from my love of Broken Bells music and the voice of James Mercer. I couldn't believe I'd taken so long to catch up. They have a great sound. This album is no exception. Lovely melodies abound with harmonies that take me back to bands like Cast and The La's. Favourite songs are hard to pick with this band but right now I'm enjoying "Australia", "Red Rabbits" & "Turn On Me" but they're all fantastic tunes. If you're looking for a summery sound this year then you couldn't do better than The Shins. Do yourself a favour and give them a listen. If you're like me you'll be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner!
