Wow what can one say about this phenomenal Philly soul group.Of all their peers,The Stylistics are one of the smoothest and sweetest soul groups of their era.All of their Hits were ballads ,graced by the soaring falsetto of Russell Thompkins Jr.
This 1981 album produced by icons Gamble & Huff with ballads like Mine All Mine ,It's Only Love and the title track Closer Than Close .
Sure every ardent listener would not let this disc surpass them as it is a must have in any collection,it is eminent ,enjoyable and highly recommended to all Soul Fans.
