Good Dark Ambiental Music with a Cyberpunk Twist

22.05.2015 by M.B. Anon (See all user reviews)

This is not one of the most commercial albums to be found in songswave. The movie for which the soundtrack was released was one of the pioneering movies in the cyberpunk genre (along with Akira - 1988) and an inspiration for many movies that followed, such as the Matrix. This cyberpunk vibe somewhat does reflect in the soundtrack itself. While not being an incredible commercial success, Ghost In The Shell - Soundtrack will prove a great listen for many fans of the genre and even people who have little interest in cyberpunk itself but rather prefer some peaceful instrumental music. There are plenty of choir bits throughout the cd while most of it is dominated by the sound of drums. Shoyuld you be a fan, you did not need this review, should you not, if you like some peaceful dark ambiental music, you can definitely give this one a shot. Have a good day!
